What you will do

As a Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning Technician, you will travel to scheduled appointments throughout Greater Victoria and provide professional cleaning services in customers’ homes and businesses.
Your responsibilities will include:

  • Cleaning carpets, upholstery, area rugs and related surfaces
  • Setting up and operating professional cleaning equipment
  • Driving a company vehicle to scheduled appointments
  • Providing friendly and respectful customer service

  • Managing daily schedules and job requirements

  • Completing scheduled work efficiently without compromising quality
  • Performing light maintenance on cleaning equipment
  • Representing Greenway with professionalism, care and a positive attitude

Experience and Qualifications

  • Previous carpet cleaning experience is preferred
  • Two or more years of carpet cleaning experience is considered an asset
  • Experience in labour, trades, moving, detailing, cleaning or other hands-on work will also be considered
  • A valid driver’s licence and clean driving record are required
  • Applicants must be able to provide a current criminal record check
  • Applicants must meet Greenway’s bondability requirements
  • IICRC certification is considered an asset

Compensation and Benefits

Expected compensation: $45,000 to $55,000 per year

Compensation is commission-based with a minimum guarantee. Actual earnings will depend on experience, performance and completed work.
